![]() In the next room, you’ll spy your ticket to the top that’s accessible far below. ![]() Gralea - Part OneĪ lone daemon will appear in front of you, so waste it with your new Death spell, then look to the right of the room to grab a Beautiful Bottle, and find an Ether on the left, near a locked door. You’ll need to be careful and cautious as you make your way through, as you cannot use Umbra to warp back to level up back on the mainland. When you arrive at Hammerhead, you’ll meet your team once more, and the time has come to prepare for the final battle.Warning: Chapter 13 is one of the oddest chapters in the game, what with the not having regular weapons, not having your allies, and slogging through a long dungeon full of daemons with only key places to save at rest areas. In the darkness that has taken the world, only the bastions of Lestallum and Hammerhead remain, and your old friends have been keeping busy while you’ve been gone. You’ll find out a bit more about what happened in the long while you’ve been gone, and what has happened to everyone. You’re going to pass some more extremely tough enemies - ignore them and keep running until you hit the main road, where a truck driven by a shocking occupant will give you a ride. (remember, when sprinting, if you tap the sprint button just before it depletes, it will refill giving you a second wind - letting you sprint forever as long as you keep replenishing it. You can also camp near Galdin Quay - but it won’t do much good aside from eating from a can and counting your XP up.įrom Galdin, you’ll have to make the hike back up the road towards Hammerhead. Two Iron Giants are over at the parking lot, which you can either carefully tangle with or just run from back up the path to Hammerhead. They have a nasty habit of throwing rocks to disrupt your blocking and unleashing a flurry of attacks to steal your items - so try holding down Holy or use Alterna to clear most of them away and take out the rest. Up ahead on the boardwalk are a party of Hobgoblins. Finally, lure the Liches away from the Naga, and then kill the Naga with a greatsword and careful blocking. Check the room full of Garchimaceras to find a Megalixir and the room with the Skeletons for a Mega Phoenix if you need them. Try and lure them out one at a time and take on each threat as it hits you with either holy weapons or the ring. The Ring of Lucis’s holy can help you here - or if you have a holy weapon like Durandal, stay in defensive mode and parry their quick strikes before falling back into a defensive stance (as they attack very fast, holding block will assure you can strike back).īe wary of the rooms on the left and right that also hold higher level enemies, and especially of the Naga and Liches up ahead. As you move through the ruins - the Tonberrys may give you more trouble. In its place are hordes of demons (though the Goblins should trouble you little). There are no people to be seen, no vestiges of human life remain here. Arriving at Galdin Quay, the darkened world is a shell of its former glory. ![]() After an uncertain duration of time, a much older Noctis awakes on an island off the coast of Galdin Quay, with only Umbra waiting for him with a message: his friends await at Hammerhead.
